IMMIGRATION AND RESIDENCE: To America on the "Mary and John", 30 May 1630 arrived Massachusetts. Dorchester, Massachusetts until 1635 or 1636, then Windsor, Connecticut. Land: 14 acres beyond Naponset. Windsor land inventory of 11 Jan 1640/41, eleven parcels: 12 acre homelot, 22 acres in Great Meadow, 8 acres in Plimouth Meadow, 58 acres toward Hartford, 24 acres over the Great River, parcel over the Great River 20 rods in breadth and 3 miles in length, parcel over the Great River 10 rods in breadth and 3 miles in length, 18 acres over the Great River, parcel upon Plimouth Meadow Bank, 50 acres over the Great River, 8 acres and 50 rods in swamp. Later also parcel over the Great River 13 rods in breadth and 3 miles in length.

PUBLIC SERVICE: Dorcester Selectman 28 Oct 1634, Constable in Windsor, Connecticut April 1636. Member of first General Assembly of Connecticut in 1637. Collector in Windsor, February 1638. Connecticut Legislature April 1639.
