John Gorham

John and Desire lived in Plymouth, Massachusetts until after daughter Desire Gorham was born 2 April 1644. Then they moved to Marshfield, Massachusetts. John was constable in Marshfield in 1648. They moved to Yarmouth, Massachusetts in 1652 and then to Barnstable, Massachusetts.
DEATH: John died as a result of the Narragansett fight with the Indians in December 1675. His powder horn was shot and split against his side, resulting in a fever from which he died. He was buried in Swansea, Massachusetts 5 February 1675/76.
