worship in his home, they were followers of Alexander Campbell of Bethany, West Virginia. Organized as a congregation as early as 1833. They later met in the old stone school house near the Phillips home.

RESIDENCES: Came with mother and 5 siblings to Ohio. Bought
farm near St. Clairsville, Ohio. Moved to Barnesville log cabin in 1811.
