Individual Details
Alfred Howard
(Abt, 1830 - )
2. Alfred and Sarah are listed as neighbors of George W. King and Elizabeth Howard King in the 1870 census.
An informant in one of the Civil War pension claims filed regarding George's military service stated that George and Elizabeth married at Alfred's home. (Citation to be added.)
More information must be found to substantiate whether or not Alfred and Sarah were Elizabeth's parents.
3. DNA match information from Alfred and Sarah's descendant, George W. King (1928-2019) suggest a large number of Howard relatives in the Bedford County, TN area, but more research is needed for those relationships to be proven.
