Minerva Horst enjoyed snowmobiling and three wheeling, as well as travel to Israel, Turkey and Europe. As a teen she worked in a garment factory, a homemaker, an aide to her husband at M.S. Horst Garage, lived in California while her husband attended seminary, and Minerva helped found a church in Little Valley, New York.
