Individual Details

Conrad Lewis Easterday

(15 Nov 1846 - Bef 1906)

Conrad Easterday was a farmer near Petersville, Maryland (or Burkittsville, Maryland--depending on which listing by Williams is correct) in 1906. He was unable to speak. His wife, Lydia Mitchell, was also unable to speak. Conrad taught at a school for children unable to speak in Washington, DC. He belonged to the Memorial Lutheran Church at Sharpsburg, Maryland.

Williams gave conflicting information on Conrad Easteday's occupation(s) and wife or wives. On page 1319 Conrad is listed as a teacher of the mute and as a farmer. He is given two wives, but without any reference to a second marriage. I have listed both, although I believe there must be another Conrad that I have missed.
