Marriage
The Newcomers and Williams list Miss Funk as Daniel Newcomer, Jr.'s wife, but the Ogle County history listed Mary Walter. Williams listed both David and Daniel as marrying a Miss Funk. This led me to believe Williams is wrong. The Ogle County history had more detail. I have chosen to use the more detailed information.Endnotes
