Henry Herr was incorrectly listed as a son of Hans Herr, Jr. and Elizabeth Kendig. He was their nephew, son of Isaac Herr. He and his wife, Anna Greider, bought 150 acres in Martic (now Providence) Township from the estate of her father, Jacob Greiter, on15 May 1759,
