Thomas Stine sold machinery. He also owned four amusement parks: Gwynn Oak Park; Hollywood Park in Baltimore, Maryland; Caledonia Park in Franklin County, Pennsylvania; and Boiling Springs Park, Pennsylvania. Thomas was a trustee of the Rohrersville school. He and his family were members of the Bethel United Brethren Church.
