Daniel Keedy graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1878. He taught school and was the principal of a Keedysville school. In 1890 he turned to peach growing. He also served as a Republican Commissioner of Keedysville, Maryland. He was a member of the Salem United Brethren Church at Keedysville, Maryland.
