(12 Apr 1848 - Aft 1906)
Jacob Funk, Jr. became president of the Second National Bank of Hagerstown, Maryland in 1893. Before joining the bank, he managed his father's farm, clerked in H. A. McComas & Company's insurance office, partnered with O. W. Reichard in a hardware business. In 1880 he bought shares in the Hagerstown Steam Engine Company. He also worked for the company, and in 1888 became its general manager. Jacob Funk, Jr. and Frances Healey, his second wife, had no children. I have no listings of children from his first wife, either. Jacob was a Presbyterian.
