Christian Bamberger Senior

Christian Bomberger, Sr. received a certificate of Honorable Dismissal from the Chief Magistrate of Waibstatt on 12 May 1722. He, his wife, two sons and six daughters "left the Tenantry of Baron Von Der Fels, in Eschelbronn, Baden.." and came to Pennsylvania, where he settled. Christian and his family were the first Europeans to live in what is now Warwick Township. He received 564 acres from the heirs of William Penn in 1733.
