Henry Flora, a farmer and a custodian, was a member of the Quinter Church of the Brethren. Henry Flora and Elizabeth Benbow moved to Labette County, Kansas in 1884. Henry became a deacon in the fall of 1887. Next, they moved to Lovewell, Jewell County, Kansas in 1888.
After marrying Dora McCammon, Henry and Dora mvoed to Quinter, Kansas in the spring of 1906.
