Andrew Bear was on the 1750 tax records for Leacock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He purchased a 239-acre farm from John and Catherine Bear on 6 March 1752; and bought 19 acres from Henry and Mary Landis on 2 April 1785. Andrew built the Bareville Hotel.
