Christian Newcomer, Sr., settled in West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A Christian Newkmoet witnessed the will of Ulrich Sherrick in 1763. This may be the same Christian (or a relative) as Casper Sherrick married Christian's sister, Magdalina.
A Christian Newcomer owned land in Cocalico Township, in present-day Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The land was warranteed on 26 September 1753 and patented on 28 November 1764. Virginia Lane thought this Christian was Christian Naycomet, Jr., but the wife's name was Barbara Baer, who I have the wife of Christian, Sr.
Mel Evans is the one who linked Christian Newcomer, Sr. with the immigrant, Johannes Newcomer. Jane Best linked Christian with the Christian Newcomers (father and son) who came in 1754 aboard the Frances and Elizabeth.

Christian Newcomer, Jr's will stated that his only son, John Newcomer, Sr., was deceased, and that his only grandson was John Newcomer, Jr. Christian Newcomer, Jr.'s will is H-1-4, Microfilm Vol. G-H, Image 344. He signed his will on 28 January 1799.Endnotes
