Individual Details
Jacob Martin Senior
(Abt 1700 - 1775)
Jacob Martin was a deacon. His wife, Barbara, and he bought 163 acres in Manor Township on 20 May 1751. Jacob signed the petition to the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1755 expressing fears that their previous Declaration of Loyalty might be seen as requiring them to take up arms: an action that was repugnant to them, and which they vowed not to do.
