Barry M. Hartle

Barry Hartle taught school from age 19 to 24. Later he was a farmer and livestock dealer in Chewsville, Maryland. United States President Grover Cleveland appointed Barry Hartle US Gauger in 1887, and later, postmaster at Chewsville, Maryland. He also served as a clerk to the Engrossing Committee of the Maryland Legislature.
