Peter Reist
(Abt 1701 - 1742)
Peter Reist arrived in present-day Lancaster County in 1723. He warranted 540 acres in Penn (then Warwick) Township 30 December 1734, and Peter patented the acreage on 20 February 1738. Today, it is 50 Northview Drive. His Martyrs' Mirror, with handwritten record of his children's birth dates, is in the Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum.
