Wendel Holl arrived in Philadelphia 8 October 1737 the Charming Nancy. He became a naturalized British citizen 24 September 1753 as Wendal Whole. He was a deacon and a preacher. He inherited land from his father-in-law, Hans Witwer, in Earl Township.
