Seibert Davis graduated from Mercersburg College and from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Virginia in 1875. He practiced medicine in Boonsboro, Maryland from 1875 to 188. He then went to Keedysville, Maryland for 7 years, and next to Minneapolis, Minnesota for 8 years. Finally, he returned to Boonsboro. He operated a drug store in addition to his medical practice.
Seibert Davis was president of the Washington County Medical Society, health officer for the county, and a member of the Boonsboro Board of Commissioners. He was a deacon of the Reformed Church and a member of the A.F.&A.M.
He and his wife, Eva Nicodemus, had no children.
