Hubert Harbaugh Schindel

Hubert Schindel served as chairman of the Hagerstown Board of Water Commissioners and for thirteen years a trustee for the Washington County Hospital. Also, Hubert was a member of Schindel Rohrer & Company, and he served as president of Rose Hill Cemetery. During World War I, Hubert served in the Army. He belonged to the Otterbein United Methodist Church.

Agnes Long gave Hubert Schindel's birth year as 1891 on page 237, but on the next page she listed it as 1897. The 1897 date fits better as it is after his parents 1895 wedding.Endnotes
