Michael Denlinger and his wife resided in Ibersheim, Palatinate, Germany in 1715. They came to America in 1717. Michael obtained a patent on 30 May 1733 for 300 acres one-mile north of present-day Strasburg, at or near the Pecque Creek. Bowman Road runs through the center of this land.
