Abraham Roth

Abraham Roth farmed for many years before becoming a merchant at Roth's P. O. on the C. and O. Canal. A flood in 1889 washed his home down the river. He also operated a canning business in La Plata, Maryland and spent some time as a traveling salesman. He served as president of the Potomac Fire Company No. 1 in Williamsport, Maryland.
