Charles Wentworth Sharer

Charles W. Sharer graduated from Northwestern University in 1913. He served in the Army during World War I with the 17th Cavalry. After the war, he worked for the Kable Brothers Company and taught math and coached athletics at Mount Morris College. Charles owned Sharer Garage in Mount Morris, Ogle, Illinois. Sharer Garage began in 1923, and came to sell Chevrolet automobiles and John Deere farm machinery. He also taught and coach sports at Mount Morris High School and Mount Morris College.
