Mr. Horsch/Horst's given name was "Michael," according to Philip Hertzler, as "Joseph," according to Carolyn Brubaker and Clarke Hess, and as possibly "Jacob," according to Allan Garber. There was a Jacob Hursch in the Mennonite congregation at Hasselbach in the northern Kraichgau region (modern day southwest Germany). Not sure if this is our Mr. Horsch/Horst.
