William Jones
( - )
William Jones was "of Beaver Creek," Maryland.
On 26 October 1999, Park Ranger Dean Herron of the United States Park Department called me to inquire about William Jones. It is possible that William Jones put up some wall paper in his home in Frederick County, Maryland around 1835 that later ended up on the wall at the White House. It is a French country scenic wallpaper, and it is still on the wall at the White House.
The Park Department is trying authenticate who bought the wall paper, and who put it up, took it down, etc.
