Leonard David Emmert

Leonard Emmert graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was a journalist, and served as editor of the Republican in Findlay, Ohio, before purchasing the Globe in Hagerstown, Maryland. Leonard owned the paper from 1911 until 1929. He belonged to the Knights Templer.
