Lynwood U. Cameron

Lynwood Cameron joined the Army in April 1941, and was stationed at Oahu Island on 7 December 1941 when the Japanese attacked on Pearl Harbor. Corporal Newcomer also participated in the invasion of the Gilbert Islands. He belonged to the Pangborn Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police, Moose, Junior Fire Company and First Christian Church.

Death

Lynwood Cameron, who was a policeman, died during a storm when he stepped out of his patrol car into a poddle of water that had a fallen and broken electrical line touching the water.

Burial

Reverend Doctor William M. Morment conducted Lynwood Cameron's funeral service.
