Henry Little won election to the Mount Morris, Illinois Board of Trustees in 1856, 1875 and 1876. He served as treasurer in 1863, and as clerk of the trustees from 1865 to 1870. Henry was among the first members of the Samuel H. Davis Lodge, No. 96, A.F.&A.M.
