Johannes Lang Junior

Johannes Lang, Jr. was baptized in the Reformed Church in Germany and later joined the Mennonites, where he was ordained a minister for Landis Valley by 1748. In 1754 he built what is known as the "Isaac Long" barn, which was the site of the "Great Meeting" in 1767 that lead to the founding of the United Brethren in Christ Church.
He came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1722, and sent for his wife to join him in 1723. He warranted 325 acres on a branch of the Conestoga Creek in Manheim Township in 1733.
