John Jacob Schnebele was ordained a minister in 1709 in the Palatinate, Germany. He came to Pennsylvania from the Palatinate in 1717, and was naturalized a British citizen in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 14 October 1729/1730. He obtained a patent for 200 acres in Manheim Township on 4 October 1735.
