Raymond Mensen Newcomer
(1918 - 1986)
Raymond Newcomer joined the Army in April 1941. During World War II, he was stationed in Austria, New Caledonia, Guadalcanal, and Fiji. Raymond was seriously wounded in action at Bougainvilla and was discharged from the Army in January 1944 with the rank of Private First Class.
