Death
Omer F. (Bill) Clingenpeel, 91, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2004. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosa V. Clingenpeel. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was retired from Westinghouse Electric Supply. He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Kenneth Ayers of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Judith Ann Clingenpeel of Salem; grandchildren, Monica Yates and husband, Bobby, Carla Reynolds and husband, Keith, Melissa Ayers, Jason Ayers and wife, Akiko; great-grandchildren, Mary Frances Yates, Grace Lawson Reynolds, Sophie Elizabeth Ayers, and Charlie Slate Reynolds; and sister, Elizabeth Parcell of Boones Mill. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2004 at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. George Stevenson officiating. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.Endnotes
