Samuel Loren "Loren" Bowman

Samuel "Loren" Bowman graduated from high school in Liberty Town, Maryland; from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia; and from Bethany Theological Seminary with a B.D. degree. Also, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Bridgewater College and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary. He served a number of churches and served as Executive Secretary of the Christian Education Commission for the Church of the Brethren in Elgin, Illinois.

Samuel "Loren" Bowman's memorial service was 24 June 2011 at the Church of the Brethren in La Verne, California.
