Samuel Emmert

Samuel Emmert was a Republican Maryland State Senator. He joined his father's coal business, and added hardware to the operation, becoming Emmert Hardware Company. Also, Samuel owned farms, and he was the first to breed thoroughbred Percheron horses. Samuel Emmert and Charlotte Rowe had no children.
