John Irving Bitner

J. Irving Bitner was a real estate and insurance agent. He also manufactured hosiery. Before marriage he taught school while going to college. In 1886 he was appointed Justice of the Peace. J. Irving Bitner served as a director of the Hagerstown Electric Railway Company and of the Hagerstown and Northern Railroad Company, plus several land development companies. J. Irving Bitner belonged to the Christian Church.
