(29 Nov 1836 - 19 Jan 1883)
Cyrus Galley moved to Mount Pleasant around 1860, and in 1865 partnered with B. F. Mechling and William Douglas to form a carriage making business, Galley, Mechling and Company. Upon Cyrus' death, Cyrus' son Cassius inherited Cyrus' stake. Cassius then bought out his father's partners and partnered with his brothers William and Orrin.
