Christian Bucher

Christian Bucher inherited the Bucher homestead. In the building boom of 1812, he sold the homestead and moved to Marietta, where he built various buildings, including the Hopkins House on Front Street. The building boom then burst. Christian failed financially, and moved to Ohio.
