Marriage
There were two marriage licenses issued to John Keedy. The first license, dated 25 May 1818, listed his wife as Elizabeth Snavely. The second license, dated 27 April 1822, listed his wife as Elizabeth Schnebly. Lee Garlock believes the second license was a replacement for the first. "Schnebly" and "Snavely" are often the same surname.Endnotes
