Heinrich Lescher, Sr. may have landed in Philadelphia aboard the James Goodwill on 27 September 1727. If so, he is the nephew of Hans Hege and of Hans Lehman, and his father was Hans Lescher, who lived in Schimscheim, Palatinate in 1664 and died in Europe. Heinrich patented 193 acres in Rapho Township on 13 October 1766.
