Josephus Easterday Wyand

Josephus Wyand served in the United States Navy. He was on the USS Texan during the Spanish-American War. Later, he was assigned to the training vessel, Essex. Josephus Wyand wrote of his travels. He died of gangrene after an appendicitis.
