Isaac Kauffman Senior

Isaac Kauffman came to America in 1717. On 27 September 1717, he warranted 675 acres, of which he patented 300 acres on 11 November 1734 for a homestead that is south of present-day Columbia Avenue (Route 462), bounded by Millersville Road (Route 741) on the west and Little Conestoga Creek on the east (Stone Mill Road). He signed the Declaration of Loyalty on 1 April 1728, as Isaack Coffman, and became a naturalized British citizen on 14 February 1729/30.
