Preacher Yost Moser was one of nine Mennonites living in Ittlingen, Palatinate who petitioned Baron von Gemmingen 1715 May 14 protesting the fines being levied on Anabaptists. In 1755 he signed the Mennonite Petition to the Pennsylvania Legislature. He was sick when he landed in Philadelphia 1727 September 30 aboard the Molly. His brothers, Hans and Christian were on the ship as well.
