Ulrich Hauser was a tailor. In America, he first resided in Germantown and worked as a tailor. In 1717 he moved to Pequea, where he and Johannes Weber bought 500 acres in what is now West Lampeter Township. He became a naturalized British citizen on 14 February 1729/30 as "Woolrick Houser."

Birth

Ulrich Hauser may have been born 15 August 1693 in Signau, Bern, Switzerland. He was a tailor in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and moved in 1717 to Pequea to serve the growing settlement. On 31 October 1717, Johannes Hans Weber and Ulrich bought 500 acres in present-day West Lampter Township.
