Ulrich Hauser was a tailor. In America, he first resided in Germantown and worked as a tailor. In 1717 he moved to Pequea, where he and Johannes Weber bought 500 acres in what is now West Lampeter Township. He became a naturalized British citizen on 14 February 1729/30 as "Woolrick Houser."
