Wilhelmina Krosinsky

(Abt 1799 - 22 Oct 1887)

BIRTH-DEATH: Jean Forney book; Wilhelmina was the mother of two
sons, Charles Ebel and Augustus Krosinsky; and four daughters, Johanna,
Julianna, Louisa and Frederika Kronsinsky. She is found in the 1855 census for
Stueben County, New York with her son Augustus who had come to America in 1851
and her daughter, Johanna, who emigrated in 1853. Her son Charles, his wife
Caroline and their son Herman are also listed in the census. In 1880 she is
living with her daughter Louisa Lucks in Hudson, and in 1865, 1870 and 1885 is
with her daughter Johanna in Rockford, Minnesota. She died in 1887 and is
buried in the Willow River Cemetery, Hudson, Wis. Her tombstone was destroyed
by vandals and has not been replaced. The Cemetery Association has record of
her burial with other family members-- Augustus Lucks, son of J.J., Louisa
Lucks and Mathilda Lucks Logan.

SUDDEN DEATH OF AN AGED LADY
Mrs. Elizabeth Crosinsky, mother of Mrs. J. J. Lucks, of this city, died at
the home of the latter very suddenly Saturday, October 22, of old age. The
birthplace of the deceased is unknown to anyone in the county, and her exact
age cannot be ascertained, but is supposed to be about 95 years old. She
was of Poland parentage. All her eight children, with the exception of two
who died in early years, survive her and reside in different parts of the
United States. The funeral took place at the residence Sunday afternoon, at
3 o'clock, Rev. Tresidder officiating. ("Star and Times", (Hudson, Wis.),
