William Ambrose Noltner, 83, of River Falls, who had been a resident of American Heritage Care Center, Hammond, died May 22 at the Baldwin hospital.
He was born March 22, 1906, in St. Croix County to Ambrose and Agnes Nolter. He attended country school and graduated from River Falls High School.
Mr. Noltner married Agnes Larsen of Hudson, Nov. 30, 1935.
He farmed and in 1936 started working for Equity Co-op, where he was employed for the next 36 years.
He was a lifetime member of St. Bridget's Parish. He also belonged to the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Agnes of River Falls; two sisters, Irene Baker of River Falls and Josephine Rudesill of Minneapolis; and a brother, James Noltner of Madison.
