Grace Thelander Axt, 78, was born in Pierce county, Wisconsin on May 19, 1875. She died at the Hudson Rest Home Saturday morning, December 19, after several months of failing health. In the year 1900 she was united in marriage to Otto Thelander of River Falls. Two sons and one daughter were born to them. The daughtrer passed away at the age of 10 years in 1918. Thelander died in 1926.
She was a member of the Relief Corps for over 50 years.
In 1941 she was united in mariage to Leo Axt of North Hudson. They have resided there until her recent illness.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Leo Axt, of North Hudson; two sons, Carlyle Thelander of Beaulah, North Dakota and Beldon Thelan of River Falls; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, December 21, at the Methodist church in Hudson, Interment was held in Greenwood Cemetery in River Falls with Rev. H. a. Fintel of Hudson officiating.
