Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Atteberry of Armington, Illinois, have announced the engagement of their only daughter, Virgini, to Lt. Oliver W. Hughes, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hughes of Roberts, Wis. Miss Atteberry attended Bradley college and is a member of Sigma Chi Gamma sorority. Lt. Hughes, who is in the Adjutant General's department, has been serving wit the U. S. armed forces in Newfoundland for the past year. In civilian life, he is employed in civil service in Chicago. No date has been announced for the wedding.
