William H. Kees, 75, route 3, Durand, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.
He was born in the town of Durand, Pepin county, and married Theone Rustad in 1934. He worked for the Durand and Ellsworth creameries and farmed in the town of Maxville, Buffalo county.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, William of Hudson, Curtis of Scandia, Minn., John and Lowell both of River Falls, Robert and Bruce, both of Durand; four daughters, Sally Weisenbeck and Nancy Johnson both of Durand, Roberta Bauer of Eau Claire, Candace Ludwigon of Bloomer; two brothers, Harold of Cincinnati, Galen of Durand; a sister, Pearl Erickson of Durand; 33 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, Oct. 3, at Pilgrim Congretational Church with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, both in Durand.
