Elizabeth Marie, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Staberg, was baptized Sunday, July 20, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert O'Connell officiated and an uncle, Kevin Staberg of Tampa, Fla., and an aunt, Mrs. Bruce Staberg, were sponsors.
Elizabeth was dressed in the gown first worn by her paternal great grandmother, Mrs. James C. Staberg, at her christening.
Guests at the dinner which followed the ceremony included Bruce Staberg, Mrs. Kevin Staberg, great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Staberg and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Erickson, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James E. Staberg and Mrs. Oliver Lorenz, uncles and an aunt, James Lorenz and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lorenz, a cousin, Brandon Lorenz, and Fr. O'Connell, Miss Brenda Hoffman of Stillwater and Miss Julienne Norman.

Diversion Program aimed at first-time offenders
". . . Liz Staberg, a Hudson native and 2002 graduate of UW-River Falls, will coordinate the Diversion Program for the district attorney." She is a 1998 graduate of Hudson High School and earned a degree in business administration from UW-River Falls in 2002. Staberg is the daughter of Deb Staberg, the former district attorney office manager.
